To assist clients with Marketplace health insurance, agents must be certified through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Certification ensures you are authorized to help consumers enroll in plans and stay compliant with federal guidelines.
To get started, log in at Portal.CMS.gov. If you’re a returning agent, use your existing credentials; if you’re new, you’ll need to create an account. Once logged in, access the Marketplace Training - Agent Broker section and follow the steps to complete your certification for Plan Year 2025.
